Trois Rivières Millesime 2006 Cask Strength

55.5 percent abv abv. New oak barrels offer aromas of dark oak and toasted walnut as shortbread, burned sugar, butter and dark caramel are balanced by a note of orange peel, and pistachio. On the palate, an initial bitter nut brittle leads to dark roasted coffee briefly in the mid-palate as big wood dominates the long hazelnut dry finish.
