Rested and finished in Malt Whiskey Barrels from Scotland, this aged blend opens with aromas of smokey peat and creme brûlée before dark fruit, white grape, green apple, cinnamon sugar cookie and a hint of candy apple. On the palate, the initial fruit caramel sweetness is balanced by the whisk wood, which peaks and fades quickly, along with baking spices, lingering long on the finish, with an aftertaste reminiscent of rich bread pudding.
