Maggie’s Farm Queen’s Share Double Barrel

57.5 percent abv abv. Aromas of white raisin, Chardonnay, big charred oak barrel, well toasted with hints of cedar, caramelized wood sugar, a hint of subtle orange blossom or clover. A small sip brings plenty of wood, with a suggestion of sweetness in the beginning, toffee/caramel dies out quickly into buttery wood, almost bitter to balance the toffee. Beautiful butter and burnt sugar long into the finish. This would make one hell of a good old fashioned.
