Cartavio Solera 12 Años

Molasses based, distilled in pot and column, aged in Slovenian, American, and French oak. Aromas of complex oak, molasses with a hint of ambiguous dark dried berry, vanilla and butter, toasted walnut, honey, almost like a mead. The palate leads with dark roasted nut, coffee and chocolate before toffee, dark fruit (raisin, prune) with a warm, not hot, build up to black banana, with a buttery dry cream soda finish.
