From Lacassine, LA, this aged rum presents complex delightful aromas of praline, cinnamon, bitter vanilla and red apple with a hint of bread pudding, butter croissant and some smoky oak. On the palate, a sweet entry of cinnamon sugar leads to a warm mid-palate before charred wood and rich buttery notes, with a hint of maple and dark fruit. The finish features a lingering charred oak aftertaste.
