Bayou Satsuma (tangerine)

RumXP Award Winner. Based on the town of Satsuma, Louisiana's Mandarin orange imported from Japan, the nose is bright with tangerine candy and candied orange peel. The palate is true to the fruit, tangerine slice candy, orange sherbert, accented by orange peel oil that mellows into tangerine with a persistence that runs through the medium long finish.
