It’s bottled at 70 proof for a very light, easy to drink spirit. Delicate aromas of light vanilla and faint citrus are revealed over a hint of aromatic wood. On the palate, this pale spirit initially reveals creamy vanilla and bright orange, leading to a light viscosity and mild texture in the mid-palate. Graciosa Cachaça — aged for two years in re-purposed American oak, then finished for 18 months in a Brazil Nut wood barrel — is named after the idyllic road that crosses Brazil’s Atlantic Rainforest from the mountains to the sea. Aromas of pecan shell, cinnamon bark and floral essences compliment the woody herbal character and cane fragrances. On the palate, aromatic wood and bark lead to bright cinnamon, allspice and clove. Siesta Key Distiller’s Reserve Solera Blend

Batch P2. RumXP Award Winner. Aromas of big oak and vanilla dominate a subtle root beer/cream soda, cinnamon, clove and cardamom. On the palate, it’s cola nut first, then vanilla wood, then a bouquet of spices with cinnamon on top. There is a pleasant nuttiness to the round finish, a mild sense of ginger warmth in the end of the dry finish.

Skotlander White

International Rum Expert Panel AwardA light, clear bright cane spirit leads with aromas of grassy butterscotch, a note of white wine over fresh bread dough yeast with some pineapple. On the palate a very light, smooth thin white grape, finishes lightly astringent with plenty of cane flavor, just wild enough to be respectable but not hot. The finish is warm and lingering.

Well balanced between bitter and sweet from start to long finish.
