- Rich mahogany brown aged rum leads with aromas of dark dried prune, overripe butter, orange peel, then some honey notes before dark wood. On the palate, honeyed orange peel on rich caramel dessert leads to a gradual transition to dry but warm dark wet wood followed by a hint of honey and citrus as the long finish fades into lasting notes of wood.
