- Aromas of dark dried fruit (apricot) charred bourbon oak, buttery burnt sugar/treacle, cherry/almond, very subtle anise. The smooth brown sugar opening brings big wood mid-palate, fading to a bit of sweetness and pepper, finishes long and easy, manages to combine bitter wood, natural sweetness and smokey wood that is reminiscent of good bbq.
